Pet Link-up

Julie Prinsloo and I (Susan Spencer) registered Pet Link-up, a charitable Trust, in 2005. We'd rescued and rehomed animals for twenty years before that but decided to make it official. 

We have rescued, trained and re-homed thousands of dogs, rescued many horses and cats and some pet pigs, and paid for sterilizations and medical treatments of many pets belonging to people who couldn't afford it.

Since relocating five years ago we have almost stopped taking dogs and cats in for rehoming, but we have gathered a herd of horses rescued from starvation. We help township donkeys used to pull carts by replacing the wire in their mouthes with proper horse bits. We also help to protect rhinos by training dogs and their owners to track them. We've even caught rhino poachers ourselves with our dogs - once before they killed the rhinos. (YEAH!)
